Twenty four students from the LIFE2001 class observed and recorded the activities of scientists in Sydney, Australia on April 18, 2007. The students interviewed professionals in fields ranging from researchers in university laboratories to scientists working at the zoo. The objective of the project is to give high school students an insight into what a career in science might involve. This is the result of the collaboration between the reporters and the rest of the class. We hope that this makes science more alive for you and raise your awareness of what the life of a scientist actually involves. World-Wide Day in Science has been around since 2003 and students from every continent get involved every year.
