Reaching for Massive StarsBy Adaya Turkia

Flaming balls of light

Looking up at the night sky, many of us see the massive jumble of bright lights above us and consider how small and insignificant our understanding of the universe must be. However, for people like Kate Brooks, an astronomer at the CSIRO, this is not always the case. For her, that same multitude of flaming spheres holds many answers about our cosmos, which are accessible at the touch of a telescope.
