Why teaching?

When working at theMillennium Institute, Joanna says “I used to take student groups around the labs and I enjoyed teaching them. My favourite time was during the school holiday periods when we had students funded by theCSIRO come in and do mini experiments; I loved teaching them” she says. The career change was inevitable.

Now she loves teaching. “My favourite part of the job every year is seeing my class graduate and knowing that somehow I have made a difference”, she says.
