Soil can be used to solve crime. Rob is the Director of theCentre for Australian Forensic Soil Science (CAFSS). In this position, it is Rob's job to figure out the forensics of dirt and how it can be used as evidence of crime. He has assisted in many investigations, ranging from murder to abduction, and terrorism to environmental pollution. Rob has even developed protocols for the police. He has developed a systematic way to analyze and categorize soils. Rob has also collaborated with some of the world’s leading scientists in the field.
