Why Nanotechnology?

Jeremy has become "a jack of all trades"... having to combine many different fields of science in his work.

He is studyingcarbon nanotubes- extremely thin carbon structures - that have excellent electrical properties, effectively acting like ‘nanowires’. His aim is to use them in different applications such asblood glucose testsand DNA-based construction.
