Adam is a senior adviser of theQuantum Electronics Devices Group (QED)in UNSW. The group is actively doing research onquantum electronic devices (electronic devices based on thequantum mechanical properties ofelectrons). Adam's QED group won theAustralasian Science Prizein 2006.

Research Papers

An important part of Adam's job is publishing research papers. This is the, "bread and butter of being a scientist," he says. On the Day in Science, I witnessed the final stage of producing a research paper. We met with several of Adam's colleagues, where there was a heated debate on some final changes to the paper.
